Project ABC?
Project ABC is dedicated to the idea that young children thrive when they have early experiences in the arts. Singing, dancing, drawing, and making believe are natural ways for children to respond to - and make sense of - the world. These activities are also powerful ways for children to master the skills needed for success in school.
Scrap4Art?
Scrap4Art is an arts center. Donated materials are reused by students and adults in the community for arts and crafts projects.
Project ABC is a multi-layered effort that focuses on creating effective practices based on arts-learning research.
Scrap4Art is an environmental education program. By merging environmental awareness with creativity, Scrap4Art encourages new solutions to environmental problems.
Project ABC:
Offers support to preschools, daycare centers, and home-based day care providers; through Exploration Site activities.
Produces workshops to help parents and practitioners increase or improve the amount of arts learning that takes place in their homes and centers;
Supports the development of regional conferences to advance early childhood initiatives that embrace arts learning strategies.
Scrap4Art is a community outreach program. Scrap4Art educates students and adults on waste reduction and the importance of resource conservation
Scrap4Art is an arts retailer. Donated materials are for sale to the public at Scrap4Art's retail store.
